In June we held our open day for the NSA Central Region, which was sponsored by Masons. It was great to see people from across the region and I hope those that came enjoyed themselves and found it interesting.

The Lleyn lambs had their first vaccine, followed a few weeks later by the 8 week weights for the lambs, and Body Condition Score the ewes for the Breed for Ch4ange project. The weights on the whole were good with the lambs averaging nicely above 300g per day.

I am also to be delighted to be selected by the NSA to be part of the Next Generation Global Sheep Forum. This program brings the next generation of sheep producers from across the globe to collaborate and share ideas to tackle challenges that the industry faces and embrace the opportunities. As part of this program, I will be heading to Australia in August to attend the LambEx conference, which I am really looking forward to.
